Now in our 2nd year and after a fantastic first season, The Spartans continue to follow in the footsteps of the American system where the local Basketball team (High School/College/Pro) is the focal point in the community. We want to inspire young basketball players and give them ambition to fulfil their dreams of playing basketball at the highest level either in this country, Europe and the USA. We have Spartans represented in the England Basketball National League at U14, U15, U18 Conference and U18 Premier and in Local Community Leagues. The idea behind the Spartans is that players will find the level that is right for them. We also have 'come and try sessions' for U12 and adults We hold trials throughout the year - come and take a look at our website www.stockportspartans.co.uk. Get fit, play basketball and have fun! We play at Stockport College and Marple 6th Form College so come and take a look at what we do - better still, come and play!
